Tychoflash (Pty)Ltd Mining and Contracting Company is currently looking for a
Section manager to be based in Burgersfort.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
• Mine Overseer Certificate
• Minimum of 8 years mining experience, with at least 5
years in a management role.
• Experience in underground mining operations.
• Strong understanding of mining legislation, safety systems,
and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations within the
assigned mining section.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
(MHSA) and site-specific standards.
• Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental
procedures and inspections.
• Lead, supervise, and develop shift supervisors and
operational teams.
• Ensure production targets, schedules, and quality
standards are met.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and
incident investigations.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of equipment, materials, and
manpower.
• Compile and submit operational, safety, and production
reports
